The Badger Ordnance Remington M40A3/A5 Scope Rail was made specifically for USMC M40A3/A5 Scout Sniper Rifles. This picatinny rail will fit a Remington 700 short action that has had the receiver machined with the distinctive USMC clip slot.
It features the USMC Clip Slot recoil lug pattern, an inbuilt 30 MOA inclination and is a true MIL STD 1913 slot pattern to accept 1913 Picatinny scope rings
It is machined from pre hardened 4142 ordnance steel barstock, finished with a MIL SPEC manganese phosphate finish.
It utilizes #8-40 Torx screws which are supplied with the rail.
