The American Precision Arms Gen II Fat Bastard Brake is one of the most effective muzzle brakes on the market.  The Gen II version of the Fat Bastard muzzle brake was designed specifically for the 338 Lapua Magnum and comparable cartridges to bring maximum recoil reduction to shooters with barrels which are already threaded, however isn't rated for cartridges based off of a 408 Cheytac, or similar.

The APA Gen II Fat Bastard brakes are simple to install, there are no crush washers, flat washers, or Loctite required. Assembly simply requires an adjustable spanner.

This Gunsmith variant of the Fat Bastard Gen II brake is designed to allow a qualified gunsmith to open the bore diameter to suit your specific calibre. The Gunsmith variant comes with a .295" bore.

The Gen II Fat Bastard (Gunsmith) specs are:

- 5/8x24 TPI

- 4140 steel

- 8.3cm long

- Black Nitride Finish

- 198g

- Accommodates muzzle diameters from .8" - 1.0"

- Bore Diameter: .295 bore
