The American Precision Arms Gen II Fat Bastard Brake is one of the most effective muzzle brakes on the market. The Gen II version of the Fat Bastard muzzle brake was designed specifically for the 338 Lapua Magnum and comparable cartridges to bring maximum recoil reduction to shooters with barrels which are already threaded, however isn't rated for cartridges based off of a 408 Cheytac, or similar.
The APA Gen II Fat Bastard brakes are simple to install, there are no crush washers, flat washers, or Loctite required. Assembly simply requires an adjustable spanner.
These brakes need to be ordered caliber specific as the bore is .032" over bullet diameter for clearance while maximising performance.
